Globalization and severe competition to survive in the
global market is pressuring the Information Technology (IT) organizations to
strive for strong foothold in the arena .The success of any organization is
determined by the performance of its employees ,thus the organizations pressurize
employees to perform better ,increase their productivity and contribute for the
organizational growth. There are various factors which influence the performance
of employees. Hence this paper focuses on the influential factors of employee
performance, relevance of these factors in the Information Technology industry,
considering few of the selected IT companies.
